“A Treat”
Reviewed 25 April 2013

Stayed here at the weekend as an anniversary treat, we were met with a refreshingly warm welcome, check in was efficient and then we were shown to our room. we had a room on the lower ground floor, which was bright and looked freshly decorated and above all was clean.

The free WiFi was a nice touch as most places we have stayed at make some kind of charge for this service.

Reception staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable of the local area pointing us in the direction of places to get a good meal which was helpful as we have not long moved to Glasgow.

Being in the west end of the city the hotel is very well located for some of the main attractions and is an ideal base for exploring the city.

We would stay here again and recommend this to our friends.

We stayed whilst visiting family for Easter and the hotel was a great choice. It was a great location and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed, with a great Scottish breakfast in the morning. My gran had slight trouble with the stairs but staff always offers to help with bags etc.

This hotel was recommended to us because it was close to the secc. We were going to the one direction concert which was amazing. Hotel was great but not as close as we expected. Not walking distance but only a short taxi journey. Apart from that it was perfect. Bar was well stocked. Night porter made us sandwiches at 3am. Top marks to him. Rooms were clean and power shower was a good touch

Ive have a wonderful weekend treating my family to a wee weekend in glasgow again. The hotel was great, a bit basic but clean, tidy, plenty of room and the breakfast was very good. I was a bit dissapionted with no haggis though. We stayed in room 20 which had a double and 2 single beds and had plenty of room for all of us and the kids oloved the free wifi.

Room Tip: Room 20 was good for us however it was a large family room. Didnt see any other rooms

Great place to stop , friendly staff, comfortable place to bed down , nice and warm. Great breakfast only one thing ruined it....a very very noisy loo in the basement bedroom ( a Sani-Flo System that kept making loud noises every 5 mins from 5.00 am onwards )
