What a great place, what a great location, what a great decor, what a great idea. It's hard not to praise this place. The rooms are big, well-appointed, elegantly decorated and the treats are, well, a treat. The staff are so helpful they'd probably put your socks on for you. A room overlooking the roof of Central Station is a must - what a unique view- and its probably quieter than the front rooms. We only stayed one night and although I don't eat breakfast they seem to have that worked out well, too. What's not to like so go on, give it a go if you're in the city. And, bit of a bonus, they have a stock of one of the best, and few, Portuguese wines available in the UK. Nice soaps too.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the glass

Stayed four nights whilst visiting family and friends. Ideal location. Compact and clean room, only tiny -ve was the position of my room 601, too near the kitchen and trays etc. often bags of groceries outside my room, however everything else was excellent and I would definitely return.

Got caught in G;asgow recently after the stormy winds prevented trains from running in all directions. I was taken there by the Virgin Train staff who told me it was a good hotel and not expensive.
Very helpful staff and real milk for your tea/coffee rather than those silly little cartons, free cupcakes and home made biscuits. Did not have evening meal there but the menum certainly looked nice and if the hoterl and the staff are anything to go by I would think you couldn't go wrong there. Anybody needing a hotel in central glasgow ri9ght on the Central Station then try this one its good.

Nice Find.

Rooms were VERY clean.

They laid on some water and smarties (way hay).

Receptionist was lovely and offered and made some fresh coffee and brought cupcakes.

Breakfast was very nice (self service) with freshly baked bread, fruit juice, cereals and Full Scottish, Jams, Tea and coffee.

Excellent valued (certainly worth more)

Bang on dead in City centre.

Has everything for a comfy clean stay (and Im a fusst so-and=so)

Well done Grasshoppers :-)

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting Glasgow. Helpful receptionist, interesting features and artwork along the corridors; quality fittings; free cupcakes, mince pies and mulled wine! Asked for a quiet room, got 609. Amazing views across the railway station glass roof and surrounding houses. The room was quiet although at times you can hear the station announcements. Great self-serve breakfast.
Good location for a weekend stay in Glasgow.

Room Tip: I would imagine rooms at the front looking over Union St would be noisy. The rooms overlooking the s...
