We have just got home after a two night stay at Grasshoppers. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Sean, he arranged a swift excellent dry cleaning service. The room was one of cleanest I've ever stayed in, especially shower. Overall excellent and would definitely recommend a stay here. Hopefully we will be back. Thanks Geraldine Carey- N Ireland

My wife and I very much enjoyed a 2 night stay. Building seems odd on arrival , then going up the life in this run down office building, but when you arrive on the 6th floor you Immediately know this is going to be special. Excellent staff. Wonderful breakfast. Rooms are a bit small , but functional. Very modern and updated. Noise from the train station a tiny bit annoying , but not a deal breaker. Would stay again. It's fun.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The rooms are small and no frills but very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the complimentary cupcakes and tea, the great location, and the delicious breakfast.

Don't be put off by the first impressions (hotel is situated on the 6th floor of a somewhat scruffy office building) as this hotel is a gem. It really wasn't what i was expecting but loved it as did my mum.
Rooms great, staff go the extra mile and more, food scrumptious!

The Commonwealth Games were always going to make things difficult to find a decent hotel at a proper price. Well as everyone had increased their prices you might as well have a place with decent facilities and in a great location. This 6th floor ex-office block may not seem like a wonderful place, but the Victorians know how to build a concrete / stone building which isolates all noises (see here chain places with your plasterboard walls) and with the modern décor and great customer service, it was well worth the extra increment over the normal locations.

If you can forget/forgive the outrageous prices charged by all Glasgow Hotels during the Commonwealth Games.....then this is a Gem of a find. On the 6th floor of an office block adjacent to Glasgow Central Station, this oh so friendly haven of peace is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff genuinely make you feel you are a guest in their home. The rooms are spotless and modern, although rather small; shower room has great power shower; sandwiches available until late into the night, SKY TV with Sports; wine, cup cakes, tea/coffee whenever you wish. The only addition I would ask id AirCon.....the room fan is excellent and quiet, but AirCon really is a MUST at these prices.
