Went with a group as we were viewing the Art deco heritage. Some of the group had stayed here before. Lots of steep stairs with no lift, also steps and a steep incline from the side road. as access to the hotel is above shops. The deco is in need of an update. The room was clean with a shower en-suite. There was a good choice of breakfast on offer, cereals, fruit, full English toast. The staff are friendly. Good location for Museums, Restaurants, Botanical gardens. Such a pity it is so uninspiring.

Room Tip: Don't book if you have any mobility problems.

This is one of those special places where you feel more disgusting after a shower and give the equally nasty smelling towel a thorough inspection before touching your skin with it. Not cleaned properly and it seems like something is seriously wrong with the plumbing. If you have to stay here bring some scented candles and shower booties but seriously just don’t stay here. Awful
No problems with the staff they seem fine

Whilst the location of the hotel was great with lots of lovely Restaurants and bars nearby, the hotel itself is not great. The rooms are rundown and in need of a makeover, the bed is uncomfortable and in the room we stayed in, there was no hot water and the shower didn't work. I will not be returning.

Room Tip: No lift so if you have accessibility issues, ask for a room on the ground floor.

Fabulous hotel right in the thick of it but looking out to the leafy Buckingham Terrace on the opposite side of Great Western Road. We were attending a concert in Kelvingrove Bandstand and this was a superb location. Hotel itself was excellent value for money. Large comfy room - spotlessly clean. The staff were all so friendly. Breakfast was delicious. All in all I would need to give this review 10/10!

Room Tip: We were in Room 7 - happy with this as the outlook was to the front of the hotel.

For a hotel in the West End of Glasgow this is amazing value. A nice modern double room with ensuite and a fabulous breakfast - lovely staff and only 200 yards from the heart of the West End - Byres Road. The only issue is that parking is not great but the hotel has its own small carpark, can't recommend this highly enough. I will certainly be back.
