This Castle Hotel really lives up to it's name. The building and grounds are exquisite, the staff is spot-on, and the rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and the bed is cozy. You won't want to miss breakfast!!

Oh my, the junior suite. My boyfriend and I arrived in Glasgow and had no idea the treat we were in for when we booked our night in Sherbrooke Castle Hotel. The room was immaculate, tea, chocolate, lovely bath products and a ginormous shower and a bath tub. It was a dream.

We ate supper in the dining room and the food was wonderful. Kevin had the chicken dish in a cream sauce and I indulged in steak. The next morning they graciously let us sneak into breakfast with only minutes to spare and still fed us a traditional Scottish breakfast.

Absolutely we recommend a stay here, I'd recommend you stay longer than the one night though, we wished we had booked our last few nights in Glasgow here after we finished the West Highland way to convalesce. So that is a regret. It's a quick train into Glasgow Central, and the platform is very near by so don't fret too much about transport, if you want to see more than just a delightful room.

We spent a night here and happened to get upgraded to a tower room. The room was extremely spacious and very clean with spectacular views of the neighborhood. We decided to try the restaurant for dinner and were amazed at how delicious everything was. They clearly produced everything from scratch including the pasta. I will undoubtedly be returning to the hotel and their restaurant in future visits.

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay while in Glasgow. The only flaw was the lack of a lift, it made hauling suitcases up 2 flights nearly impossible. However, I get it. Tge staff was glorious, especially the gentleman who let us out at 0430 due to an early flight. Until next time!

Very nice hotel sitting up on a slight rise just off Sherbrooke Ave. Quite an imposing sight. Like all old houses it's a little tired here and there, but that just adds to the charm. Our junior suite was very nice, bathroom was very spacious, big shower and claw foot bath.
Breakfast was very nice. Buffett cereals etc. and nice selection of cooked foods.
This place is in a great location for visiting central Glasgow. A few minutes walk takes you to the commuter train and only stop to town Central Station.
