“Excellent Value For Money - Loved It!!”
Reviewed 12 August 2011

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel on the 23rd July 2011. We had got a late room for £60.00 for one night. Upon arrival, the hotel doesn't look up to much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked through the rotating doors. Reception was very clean and modern, and the member of staff on duty helped us find the restaurant where we had booked for that night. We were given a room on the 12th floor - views were amazing! Could see for miles right over and around the city. The room was a decent size with plenty of storage. The bed was massive and very comfortable. We had a great night's sleep, due to being on the 12th floor it meant that noise from the M8 was minimal. In the morning, we opted to pay the extra £16.00 for breakfast. It may seem a lot but for what is on offer, it is really worth it. All you can eat breakfast with all the extras...best breakfast we have had in a long time. Overall, a great nights stay and we will not hesitate in booking a Premier Inn in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 12th floor

See title. I have little more to add to the statement made in the title. Location, neighbourhood and transport links all excellent.

Room Tip: The higher the better - west facing.

Perfect location for all city centre activity, also right beside train station if you want to go farther afield! Room was clean and airconditioning worked a treat. Low noise level from outside. Staff very friendly & welcoming. Would definately stay here again. Excellent value for money.

I have stayed at this hotel several times but the last visit was sadly disturbed by a false alarm early in the morning. Everything is premier - except the fire alarm!

This Premier Inn is pretty much like the others across the UK: clean, good value, and convenient.. There are no computers available at this inn, though there is wi-fi. You get the 1st 30 minutes free every 24 hours. After that there is a charge. Breakfast is the standard "all you can eat" buffet with a wide selection of dishes, hot and cold. There is no cream available for the coffee, only milk. The mezzanine floor has the restaurant as well as a spacious bar/lounge area. This is open pretty much all the time. Food can be ordered here. The lobby is very small and gets quite crowded when several people are checking in. The rooms are on the small size, but adequate. Bathrooms are ok - very high sided tubs and no safety bars on the walls. Be very careful as the tub gets slippery and no rubber mat is available to put on the tub/shower floor. There are no washcloths at any time. Better lighting in the bathroom might be nice. There are no hangers for hanging up pants or skirts, only shirt type hangers. There is a direct line to a cab company in the lobby and cabs come almost instantly. Service is quite good. Staff is responsive and attentive. Would definitely stay again.

Just back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. First time staying in Glasgow. Very central. One train stop away from Queen Street station. Room was ready when we arrived at 1pm. Room on 4th floor (12 floors in total). Could hear the traffic early in the morning (bit of a poor sleeper) and could only hear the trains when in the restaurant when beside the window that overlooks the station. Food was fine - buffet style breakfasts which offered full cooked, croissants, toast, cereals, fruit etc. Dinner was fine and available from 5.30pm. Sleep disturbed early one morning with the fire alarm going off at 6.30am so all standing in the street in nightwear while 3 fire engines whizzed up - thankfully false alarm. Hotel very central - Kings Theatre just round the corner, walked back from Ibrox stadium one night - took about 30mins, walked to the Kelvingrove in about 15mins. Weather was scorching all bar one day when it was drizzly.

I never stayed at this hotel brand before but all hotels in Glasgow seemed to be fully booked due to some major events in town. So, well, I had no choice. The hotel was in the city centre and really cheap. I would rate it 3-star. Rooms are rather small and basic as is the bathroom. The bed was good. Everything was clean. Internet is charged per 24 hours and worked well. I cannot tell anything special about this hotel. It will work well for you (and it did for me) if you simply need a place to sleep, don’t expect much more.
