Stayed here as I was going to an event at the Hilton and it was a lot cheaper. Looks awful from outside as used to be office block. Right next to Charing Cross station so can attract some undesirables outside. However once inside its really quite good. Nice room with awful views over car park but youre not there for that. Staff very helpful and friendly and the restaurant looks smart and the head waiter was good with the Glasgow banter.
Multi story car park next door. Cheap overnight parking but you need to move car by 8am when it gets pricey again. Wi fi is dear in the room and the "free" element isnt clear.
I would stay there again.

booked this last minute for a few days away, as glasgow was really busy this was the only hotel left so glad it was . it was cheap but really clean had a great bar and really hearty breakfast, and friendly staff. right outside the hotel is a great bar/restaurant where we seen a few celebrities from the nearby shows and whiled away an enjoyable few hours. Sauchiehall street is on the doorstep of the hotel and the shops and attractions are all minutes away. we shall stay here again as glasgow is one of our favourate cities.

Room Tip: the standard room is as good as any

I stayed here on my own for 5 nights whilst attending a Course in Glasgow. The hotel was very clean, staff were very helpful and as a single female I felt very safe and not at all uncomfortable about dining solo. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here on business in Aug 2011.

Arrived late at night and parked in the NCP next door, car park was well lit and lots of people around for the time of day (11pm). Hotel was literally a 20 second walk.

Check in quick and efficient. I was given 9th floor.

Room was clean, large enough for my needs and I had a great nights sleep.

Ate the english breakfast the next day - there was plenty of choice and it was good hot food.

All round a great hotel - especially if you get get it on a special deal like I did (£29)
