Nice feeling bed and good noise blocking from the outside traffic, bathroom was nice as well. Only problem was that noise from other rooms came through quite loudly. But overall for the price I paid for my room I was very satisfied.

Check-in was easy and fast ( might be due to previously booked a few months earlier). Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful.
Room was basic but very comfortable as was the bed. As a male I travel with a functional amount of clothing which is OK as the wardrobe space is very limited, especially for a female if they have a lot of clothes with them.
Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of food on offer and it was buffet style so that you could eat as much as you liked, especially pertinent if you are on a budget and were sightseeing. The breakfast staff we helpful and very pleasant.
Dinner menu was average. The fish and chips consisted of a Thai fish according to our server and turned out to be quite nice. Chicken curry was pleasant enough. Sirloin steak was OK but the Rump steak was not very nice, full of sinew and gristle and very difficult to cut and chew, avoid this. Serving staff very pleasant.
Look out for the "Meal Deal" on the menu, this is a real saver and when I was there I noticed a sign that "kids eat for free".
Location is not a problem as this hotel is 600 mtrs from the city centre, and if you don't feel like walking, the tube station in twenty mtrs away almost attached to the hotel. Fares a very reasonable and take you to Queen Street Station where you can either get a train to Edinburgh or elsewhere or go walkabout as you are in the centre of the city it was cheap and only took five minutes. A taxi from the "St Enoch Centre" to the hotel only cost me £5 and that was including a tip. Well worth it if you've already walked too much.
Overall I will go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Look out for the meal deals and "kids eat for free". Use the tube to the city centre, it t...

Booked the premier inn, in the charing cross area and have no complaints. The room was large enough and was very clean. The facilities within the room were also up to scratch. A good choice indeed!! Next time we are in Glasgow we will have no hesitation in choosing this hotel again.

I stayed here for two nights the last week of October whilst in Scotland on business.

Got to be honest, first thought were worry due to its location but really comfortable and great nights sleep. One gripe is the wifi. Free for 30mins then £3 for 24 per device. Opted against using the wifi.

Stayed at this hotel for a night on my Scotland tour. There is not much to do in hotel. Pros and Cons are mentioned below

Pros
1. Good Location
2. Very good BF, good variety. Something for everyone
3. Comfortable room
4. Clean
5. Tube station just on footsteps
6. Tesco across the road(main way)

Cons
1. Limited internet or you need to pay
2. Not much activity inside hotel
3. Huge rush at the time on Bf hours, so sometimes no way to sit, i have seen people standing and eating as they have to catch their bus.

Room Tip: Take a room on height, you'll get a good view

Thanks for your review of our hotel. It is great that our clean hotel, comfortable rooms and our 'All You Can Eat' breakfast met your expectations. We do offer breakfast for four hours every day to our guests which usually helps to spread the volumes of people over the morning, but please be assured we do everything we can to make sure no one leaves hungry.

Thanks again for your review and we look forward to welcoming you back to Premier Inn again in the future.

This is a city hotel, with the box room to match. I found it very pokey even the TV had been put on the widow sill as there was no where else to put it, the wardrobe such as it was almost unreachable. In this modern world of charging phone it was unbelievable how few plug sockets there were and basically the only useable one could not be used unless you moved the kettle. Front desk efficient but far from friendly, did not try the restaurant as I was driven to escape the closet room. End on a high it was quite, but I would not go back.
