The facilities were better than I expected as was the level of cleanliness and comfort. The staff were most helpful not only to me but when dealing with other guests. I would not fault this experience.

Just returned home today after a long weekend at this Premier Inn. We chose it because it's really handy for the SECC (we went to Strictly Come Dancing) and city centre shops too. An added bonus is that.Charing cross train station is less than a minutes walk away Reception was busy when we arrived but we were sorted out with keycards in less than 5 minutes by the friendly and cheerful staff. When we got to our room I realised that I had booked a double instead of a twin room so I phoned reception asking if it was possible to change? Ten minutes later we were in a lovely and bright twin room - no problem at all. Cosy, quiet and very comfortable is the rule and the beds are very comfortable indeed. Tea /coffee making equipment was there and when we asked for more teabags and coffee - no problem!
The bar and restaurant are exceptionally well set out and decorated and again, very comfortable. I knew from a visit to another Premier Inn last June that I could expect a good breakfast and I wasn't let down. Lots of beautifully cooked traditional breakfast fare, as much or as little as you want and just £8.00. There are other breakfast choices and lunch/evening meals too although we had our evening meals elsewhere - see my other reviews.
Premier Inns know exactly what the public want i.e. Good value for money. And where do they get the great staff from? Keep up the good work guys and thank you.

Room Tip: Go as high as you can

Stayed in this hotel for one night in a twin room with my daughter for a visit to Glasgow University which was a pleasant 15-20minute walk or short £5 taxi ride away. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and our check-in experience was fast and efficient. Our room was spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfy. We both had a great nights sleep and would have no hesitation in returning or recommending.

I stayed for three nights, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Hotel is exactly what you expect for Premier Inn. When speaking with the maintenance crew as I was leaving they did admit that the building was showing its age but they tried to keep on top of it. They are doing a good job. The hotel is right next to Charing Cross Station, which is between the hotel and the multi story car park, which is the parking mentioned in the hotel details. It is a bit of a pain moving the luggage but the car park is very secure and it has an award for this. The staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay there again.

We stayed for one night when we were going to the Kings Theatre. It couldn't have been closer - it took about a minute to walk.
We asked for a quiet room and were given a room on the ninth floor. Superb view and very nice room. Comfortable bed.
After the show we had a drink in the hotel bar. Very comfortable and very good prices. Where else will you get a bottle of wine for £14?
We had a good stay and will happily go back.
The only drawback is that the price changes with demand. We were only £29 but I have just tried to book for another date and the price is £70. Supply and demand, I suppose.
