£58 for family room- does exactly what it says on the tin. No real frills, but no problems either- even got money back as there was a fire alarm through the night. Friendly staff all round and a good breakfast for £7, though kids eat free ( we ate our moneys' worth ).

Me and my girlfriend went to glasgow for new years eve and hunted around for a hotel at about 6 o'clock at night.

This was the first we found at a reasonable price (£59) with rooms available.

The room was massive and had a fantastic bathroom. It was very clean and the bed was huge. There was a huge desk for putting bits and pieces and had coffee making facilities and a hairdryer not to mention a big mirror.

The window offered a good view of the city and was very soundproof and child safe considering the location and the occasion!

The staff were excellent and gave me a free tube of toothpaste when I told them I had forgotten mine. The 24 hour reception was ideal.

Very impressed with this hotel. It would be my first choice if I was staying over in Glasgow again

From arrival to departure the members of staff were courteous and not forgetting a service with a smile! The room was what was expected from a Premier Travel Inn clean, comfortable and all the amenities you require.

Stayed here for one night to attend a concert.
Booked online and paid £59 for a double room - good price for the centre of Glasgow.
Friendly efficient staff at check-in, room small but had everything we needed.
Powerful, hot shower, comfy bed. Noise was not an issue as suggested in previous review. We were advised at checkin that higher floors were quieter than lower, so we chose a room on the 11th floor.
We did have breakfast and were perfectly happy with what was on offer.
All staff made a point of greeting you, and were very pleasant.
Good value and good quality.

The room smelt of paint, it had obviously recently been redone, and the windows closed ever since. My husband spent literally minutes trying to open the window to let out the smell and let some air in. There was no adjustment on the window, it was either fully open or shut.
The noise from outside was really bad all night, first from the station, then the drunks (outside!), then drills and hammering from daylight onwards.
Even with the window shut this would have been bad, but we still had to have it open because of the smell.
The bed was awful, I had to put a spare pillow down the middle of the bed, to stop rolling into the middle, and still got up with a stiff neck and backache in the morning.
The breakfast was adequte, there were no veggie sausages, but the cost of one breakfast was refunded (without us having to ask) by the manager on duty.
I asked for soya mik at the buffet, and the staff brought it out to the service area stilll in the carton, waited for me to pour it on my cereal, then took it away again - whatever happened to offering a jug to take to the table?
The rest of the breakfast was just adequate, I managed to eat about half of it, but watch out for the red hot implements, as I could (seriously) barely hold them to serve myself.
we had booked in advance for December & January but have since cancelled and will go somewhere else.
It is possible to do this better, just try the Premier Inn at Norwich and you won't believe the difference - great staff, great beds, great food. How come this was so bad?

  • Liked — the tv worked
  • Disliked — the bed, the smell, the noise

The Scottish and Grampian Pension Association booked this place for a £9 buffet lunch. I have never been so disgusted as to to to the quality and quantity to this Buffet Lunch. Dried up sandwiches, dried up stuffed mushrooms. I cannot tell you how bad this buffet was. Such poor value. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE. SUCH BAD VALUE. STEER CLEAR
