Have stayed at this hotel before, and to be honest we weren't that impressed. However due to the hotel rate decided to stay here again for the Ross County v Dundee Utd match. This time round it was totally different, in a good way.
Reception staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we came through the door
The room was a little bit on the small side, but the bed was amazingly comfortable, slept like a log both nights. Bathroom was really clean and the shower was great.
Had breakfast both mornings, and in comparison to our last stay it was well organised and the full cooked breakfast was fresh and delicious. There were two members of staff in particular that couldn't do enough to help. Unfortunately didn't get their names, but they were both a breath of fresh air.
As for location, really central. Was just a short stroll to Sauchiehall street where we went for an italian, and then the next night we went to Buchanan street, which was about a 20 min walk. Not far at all. Easy walk home after hitting a few pubs.

Great location. Car park next door is cheap for overnight stay (£3). Hotel's main assets are the super friendly and helpful staff - complete agreement with other comments from users. Would recommend this hotel. Room was not huge but comfortable enough.

My room was clean, large, the bed was enormous and the view from the two large windows over Glasgow was brilliant - do ask for a high floor and room 17 on my floor was larger than average. Everything was brilliant except for the Gideon Bible - do Premier Inns not realise that a considerable number of their customers are not Christian? Certainly I've been in PIs that didn't have them, so maybe it is up to the individual hotel. But past that tiny annoyance, an excellent experience with lovely staff even though the computers had gone down on them and they must have been frantic.

this is my 4th time to stay at this hotel, got a good rate for the 4 nights i stayed.
the room was on the 12th floor, the view was great, the room was large but freezing cold, the a/c was on but was blowing cold air,had to get a portable heater from reception,
left valuables in an envelope at reception to put into their safe, but when i got the envelope back it was open, nothing was stolen but they never apologised .
room was spotless and quiet , a good 10 minute walk to the center,
glasgow is a great city the hotel is good value if you get the £29 a night,

this is the 2nd time the wife and i have stayed in this hotel in the last few months the staff at reception were really nice as usual we asked again for a room high up with a good view but this time we got a room at the end that was very small. it also had the smallest double bed i have ever slept in. the good thing about premier inn is usually the beds are huge and very comfy.the worst thing was the carpet it had what looked like blood stains in a few different areas NOT VERY NICE surely a good stain remover would have removed them.other than that the hotel is in a great location for all of Glasgow.
if we go back we will not be asking for room 11/21..

Stayed here for a weekend away shopping and clubbing.
Hotel is in a central location, 2minutes walk from glasgows main shopping streets. although there is some dodgy lanes when walking home after a night out.. would definately recommend getting a taxi if back late as there was alot of drunks wandering about the streets- but can't blame the hotel for that.
Hotel was a fair price £40 for twin room one night. Check in was quick and girls on reception were very friendly and helpful, giving us info on good shops and nightclubs. Got room on 3rd floor, but was not the usual type of room I've had from Premier Inns. It was on the corner of corridor, very small.. double bed instead of twins, horrible draft from vent and noise coming from the motorway. Was watching TV around 6pm and asked to turn it down... wasn't even up loud. considering it was a Saturday night 6pm. didn't mind though just went down to the bar, which was very busy, friendly atmosphere.. took a while to get served but good service when I did. Would recommend stay if going out in Glasgow city centre, and definately prefer to Travelodge. Although would not really stay for more than 1 night.

With these inns you get what you pay for but I seemed to have a worse experience than others have reported. We were given room 202 which is tiny and right next to the lifts, so we have the Friday night shouting from fellow guests as they walked past at 3am. The air vents were very noise and turning the a/c on made it worse. The windows were flithy inside and out.

I've stayed in many PTI's and thought this was towards the lower end of the quality service - especially as the room was not that cheap
