within walking distance of both train and bus stations (each less than a mile away) we got a twin room for £29 and a 2 course dinner for £15 excellent value and the food was extremely tasty, would definately reccomend this hotel

Lovely Hotel, good location and the most friendliest of staff. Reception staff made us most welcome on arrival, the same applied to the staff in the bar and also for breakfast the next morning. Keep up the good work. The bed and pillows were really comfortable ( in fact since coming home i have purchased a couple of 'Fogerty pillows' The hotel is close to shops and bars, couldnt fault it in any way, will most certainly be going back.

I stayed for one Saturday night to see a concert. It's Premier Inn, one of the better budget hotels. They are all presented in pretty much the same way and to the same standard so you know what you are going to get. Room facilities are good for a budget chain. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated for Sauchiehall Street where there are lots of pubs and restaurants. The Sauchiehall shopping area is a short walk away. The hotel is also located in an elevated area. Guests arriving from either of the railway stations may consider the walk a bit far and steep. There are good views over Glasgow from the upper floors.

Booked to stay here for a night for a gig at Hampden. Have had bad experiences at other similar places in Glasgow so opted for the Premier Inn. Our room - whilst a bit on the 'neat' side size wise - was immaculate - the bed was so comfy The lovely girls on reception made us feel very welcome . We did have to queue to check in but the place was full for a Hampden gig so hardly the receptionist fault.

The view from our top floor room was stunning and as it was a summer stay we really loved the air con in the room.

More expensive than other similar places in town but you get what you pay for. On the downside - as per other reviews - did not feel particulary safe in the area late at night - woudl definately get a taxi back from your night out.

Ihave stayed at The Charing Cross Premier Inn a couple of times now, it is right in the City Centre just a short walk from Sauchiehall Street, where the pubs etc are. The room was very clean and the staff are welcoming, we had breakfast although we thought it was a bit pricey it was great with lots of choice, will defo be back, and it is also close to all the shops in Glasgow and what a choice you have.

Because they didn't want to honour a particularly good internet deal, they stuck me in a room that was quite nasty. Bathroom was grimy, a used "feminine product" was lying on the floor, linens were grubby. The "gentlemen's club" right next door certainly attracts a clientele that was not what I was interested in running into.
