Located on the left hand side as you head up to George Square. I think that everyone laughs and takes a photograph of the Wellington statue with the traffic cone on his head.

Some may say it is vandalism but really it is a part of Glasgow. The bollard on the head of the Duke of Wellington is nearly as famous as he is.

Though I am still not clear why some youth wanted to cover the Duke's head, I was impressed that after several attempts to remove the traffic post on his head, the city gave up and decided to leave it. However, when I was there, a second traffic post had been added to the first.

It's a statue. Of the Duke of Wellington. I am not sure how something like this could be either excellent or terrible. I mean, it is just a statue, of the Duke of Wellington, in the middle of Glasgow.

Bonus mark for often having a cone on it.

First time I saw the statue, I thought that someone put the cone just the night before! Then, I started seeing even TShirts with the image! This statue is a symbol of the Scottish idiosyncrasy, their wit sense of humor and their rebel spirit.
