“Amazing Building”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Fantastic museum, all the history of Glasgow! A beautiful building in Glasgow Green. This was my second visit and I highly recommend this museum,it's also free! The cafe wasn't open to the public last week due to the Commenwealth Games...but it is worth a visit alone to visit the cafe in it's fabulous glass building.

Very poor and located quiet in poor area. Nothing special to see except one random cafe. You will be dissapointed.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

As with most council owned attractions in Glasgow this is free. It is set in a lovely part of Glasgow green and is a brief history of people of Glasgow along with the Winter garden. There is a small cafe in the winter garden part which is very pleasant to sit in. During the common wealth games or in my case just before it there is barriers up everywhere and every route except one in or out is sealed of and the signs lead to dead ends. The only route in or out is via the Bridgeton side (the furthest side from the city center). If you do not know Glasgow I would advise waiting until after the Games are finished.

“***Well worth a visit...***”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

Even on a wet day (not unusual for Glasgow) you can sit in a beautifully relaxed atmosphere and marvel at the exotic plants within the gardens, on a sunny day, however, it is just magical. There is food available (snacks, coffees and the like), my advice, pack a light picnic and get yourself a cuppa from the cafe. This wee gem never really gets busy, I visit regularly. Oh, and don't forget the Doulton Fountain just outside...
