This attraction needs to be seen to be believed – so very difficult to describe something so unusual in writing. Basically the theatre is in a darkly lit room with many quirky installations around the perimeter. Each one is mechanically operated and atmospherically lit with an eerie musical accompaniment. The movement of the separate parts of the installations are staggered so there is a build up to the finale of the piece. The craftmanship and ingenuity of the artist is amazing and each piece is absolutely captivating.

If you visit Glasgow you must see this show. It is absolutely fascinating, surreal, brilliant. It is set in a lovely modern venue with a bright Russian cafe serving up delicious coffee. Food is available but we didn't partake. This show is not something I would have thought of going to but was persuaded to attend and I am so glad I did. Like nothing I've ever seen before. Amazing. Don't question it or wonder about it - just go!

I wasn't sure what to expect coming in to Sharmanka, but I was completely blown away by the experience. The music and lighting create the most wonderful atmosphere in which to admire such clever and beautifully engineered pieces of art. The detail is incredible, and the longer you look at each piece, the more you discover. I could easily visit again and again, and have been left overwhelmed and inspired.

I am an engineer and not a arts person. But this place has made like arts. What a fabulous imagination. I am actually struggling to describe it. This place is a must visit. Please try and go on a sunday evening show.
