Big and quiet with a wonderful river which changes in character as you walk through the park, and it passes Holmwood House, the wonderful building by Alexander Thomson

Very relaxing walking around Linn Park in peaceful surroundings, golf course nearby if you need more exercise and open areas to enjoy. Gentle slopes make for a bit of effort required - gets the cardio-vascular system working - but not over strenuous. Select the right spot on a good day and you'll have a quiet secluded sun trap - keep it a secret :)

Nice park for a stroll in the summer or any time of the year.
River runs through the park.
Nice woodland and river walk also has a golf course.

Great place for muddy walks with the dog or sitting reading the paper during warm weather. Hint: dont go alone as there are regular influxes of gangs of roaming Buckfast louts during the good weather. The bams tend to be more prevalent at the Croftfoot / Castlemilk end. Its a nice park but definitely not geared for tourism.
