Stayed here one night & found the location on the river perfect for access for shopping & all that the city has to offer. Lovely walk from Finnieston to the Broomielaw. We had lunch & dinner & found the food & service to a high standard. Bedrooms small but perfectly formed with White company toiletries ,bathrobes etc.Lovely view of the river.Staff very good, friendly & helpful.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Mint Hotel, for a friends wedding. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were nicely presented and very clean. The sound proofing was excellent, as was the breakfast. I found the AC slightly noisy, but you did have the option to turn it off, and I felt our bed could have done with being replaced as it was slightly soft which isn't to my taste. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was very good value for money. We will be back!

Room Tip: Book a river view, as rooms are definitely quieter and slightly bigger

A very nice clean modern hotel, with Mac's in each room. What a treat. Staff treated you as a genuine customer not a number.
Bar food was great, and would defintley stay here again. Value for money. Relaxing outdoor patio on the River Clyde. Location was great a £3 taxi from the train station and additonal restaurants and shopping.

Great Apple internet facilities, gorgeous views out onto the river and a wonderful bar. Rooms are quite small, but service is fantastic. The only draw back is that it isn't very central to the main Glasgow city centre.

On arrival the reception area was unimpressive and was the line for attention with just one staff member on duty. Another then appreared and seemed slow and unwilling to start to attend to those waiting, An apology for the delay was not heard. Once checked in the room was adequate and well stocked with a mini bar, an i - telly/computer and a safe which was very useful. In the restaurant the staff were efficient and quick but still dour: food was very good at the breakfast and plentiful. It was buffet style and we were seated in the bar area because the restaurant was full, this meant a hike to pick up food although we were not ignored by staff here. All said its location and the good breakfast overcome the dour staff who were on the whole efficient: it felt just a bit like what you would expect from a volume hotel in Paris, good but not bothered if you wanted to go elsewhere.

I have stayed here twice now and had a river view each time without asking for it yes the rooms are small but I wasnt holding a party they are big enough for two people with everthing in it that you could possibly need and the most important thing to me clean there is a safe , mini bar . computor ect lovely toiletries and dressing gowns ect. And while the river views are lovely this about the only city hotel where you can be sure you wont have a room looking onto a brick wall its either river view or main road much rather have main road than brick wall. Also it is not as far from the city centre as som people here are making out there is public transport and a taxi is about £5 also if I can walk it in about 15 mins anyone can this hotel also has a nice sitting area outside by the river as you can tell I liked it.

Room Tip: ask for a river view its nice but as i said no rooms looking into brick walls ect
