Clean, adequate sized rooms in yhis hotel with good facilities. Located near the river about 30mins easy walk into the city or there's a railway station within 5mins, fares are quite cheap. Would be more thsn hsppy to stay again.

Glasgow Hilton Garden Inn was well situated in Glasgow providing easy parking and access. The hotel is an ideal location for a city visit. The hotel is an easy walk into the city centre, however I would advise that if you are carrying item a £5 taxi journey back is advisable.

Don't normally stay with the Hilton brands as normally use the IHG hotels when we go away. However booked this when attending Top gear Live at the weekend as got a great deal £125 for dinner, bed & breakfast.
Loads of parking beside hotel and as others said free for Hilton Honors members - worth joining before you stay like we did as saved £5 for the night. Made for a stress free arrival.
Check in was quick and easy and room was ready when we arrived at 1pm.
Didn't book a river view room but was pleased to get a lovely view of the Clyde. Rooms are not huge but adequate with contemporary decor. Was bright, airy & clean. Bathroom may be a bit tight for those of a larger build getting in and out of the shower. Tea & coffee facilities with a fridge, Apple TV, iron & board, free wifi and safe so all mod cons included. Nice bedding.
We had a meal in the restaurant as was included in the price. 3 courses - we had steak which was quite tender. Hubby loved the breakfast ( the fresh waffles you make yourself were nice!).
We found all the staff both at reception and in the bar and restaurant to be very nice and friendly giving the place a nice atmosphere.
Would definitely stay again even if not attending an event at the SECC or Hydro.
Thank you Hilton Garden Inn for a lovely stay.

Not what I was expecting from a Hilton. Very small rooms, basic provision. I was shocked to have to watch TV through an iMac! The bed was very hard and high up. However it was clean, well stocked and centrally located so for a short business trip was acceptable; esp for the price. If you're interested in brand though, do not book this as it's more like the 'Express' version of Hilton!

Just stayed here for two nights as I was attending an event at the Hydro. The proximity to the Hydro was the best thing about my stay as it is less than a 5 minute walk to the venue. I do think that the cost of the room is a tad steep for what you get (150/night) although the rooms were clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast had something for everyone.
30 minute walk from Glasgow City Centre and close to some really nice eating places. We visited the Mothers Indian Cafe on Argyle Street for tea and I would highly recommend it. Also not too far from Glasgow Quay, were there are a few well known franchises to have some tasty food, Nando's F&B and Harvesters to name a few.
If you are visiting Glasgow for the SECC or Hydro this is the place for you, if not I would recommend the Hilton on William St as this is by far a superior hotel and possibly at a cheaper cost as well.

Our 5th visit to this excellent hotel, clean, comfy, fantastic view of the river and bridge. Easy access to the centre. Booked in advance and very good value for money. Very minor issue with the bathroom door not closing flush. Look forward to returning in the future.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. When it became a Hilton breakfast went downhill. The quality and variety of the food was diminished and the experience became that of a standard hotel chain. I'm pleased to report that this time some 'cooked to order' options at no extra charge have been restored. I had scrambled egg and smoked salmon and it was very good. Well done to the hotel for doing this.
