We used the Hilton Garden Inn for a family celebration. Enjoyed a very nice lunch in a private room. The staff, including the manager, were very pleasant and attentive and made sure we had a great day, We would highly recommend this hotel.

Just had a one night stay at this Hotel while attending concert at the Hydro and would thoroughly recommend. Rooms and very stylish, well equipped and comfortable with plenty wardrobe space and nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Well located for all events at the SECC/Hydro complex but also convenient to walk in to town on a nice day. Nice restaurant overlooking River and generally very airy and pleasant place to stay. Bar lounge area a bit small and crowded but otherwise all good

Room Tip: Depends - overlooking the river is a pleasant and calming outlook - but on the other side the Hydro...

Dear Askjamie

Thank you for your review.

Our location beside the Hydro makes us the perfect choice to stay when attending a concert.

The bar can get busy after events however with additional seating offered in the restaurant the majority of guests manage to get a seat.

Kind Regards,
Brian

A good experience with very helpful and friendly staff and a generally high standard of food and accommodation. Rooms are quite small and there is no water in the room but the hotel encourages the use of its hot/cold vending machine for out of hours food and drink. Certainly a great place to stay if visiting the SECC or Hydro for an event.

Not my usual hotel in Glasgow, but it may be from now on. Stayed over after a gig at the Hydro. Lovely clean and bright, modern rooms. A bit smaller than average perhaps but there was still plenty of space and storage. Friendly staff, great bar and restaurant. Waffle machine at Breakfast...marvellous! Peaceful and relaxing. River view or Hydro view. Perfect. Nothing negative to say. Very very good.

i have stayed in this hotel a number of times and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. though a little walk from town (and not a pleasant walk) this ideally situated for the SECC, BBc and STV. food in bar and resturant extremely good. breakfast tasty though dinning room a little cramped. rooms and lobby nicely decorated.

The local council are currently developing the land beside us going towards the city centre which will improve the experience walking along the riverside.

We stayed for one night to attend an event at The Hydro. The hotel delivers what it was promises. Very good service in all areas but especially at Reception where they were efficient and knowledgeable. Quiet, clean room on the top floor overlooking the water with a comfy bed and good shower. Quick service in the bar where we ate before going out. Good breakfast. Quick two minute walk across to The Hydro in the rain. The downside? The cost. We paid a lot for this stay - £200 for bed, breakfast, dinner, bottle of wine, car parking and top floor supplement. Presume the price fluctuates with what's going on in the surrounding area.
