“Great location!”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

We came for 5 night's, The hotel is in a great location for any event's at SECC and The Hydro! Which we saw The Eagles in concert, just a walk across the street and your at the Hydro.
Also train station just a half a block walk from hotel, take the train to the Central station and your in the city center. The staff were delightful!

Stayed 5 nights at the garden inn during our exhibition at the Ideal Home Shoe SECC, Staff were excellent as was the Evening meals in the restaurant, Breakfast was a bit hit or miss as the food was under cooked for my taste on some days, The bathroom was also very small in our room 518 but that said I would stay here again and it was a very comfortable hotel with helpful staff

This hotel was chosen because it was within a 5 minute walk of the Hydro. We had arrived before our check-in but the staff graciously agreed to hold our luggage so we could get lunch and walk around before our room was ready. The staff was so helpful and so friendly. The biggest suprise was that the beds were higher than normal; a bonus for us talls. The bathroom was also a good size. The television, an Apple screen, was a tad bit to learn but the reception and picture quality was wonderful. Another bonus; this hotel is a stop on the Hop On Hop Off bus! Definitely, if you're looking for a lovely hotel on the Clyde River, GO to this one.

Stayed four nights as i was working at the ideal home glasgow event. Breakfast excellent a great variety, dining in restaurant at night was ok nice food but rather expensive, my colleague ordered a cheeseburger and got a cheese burger without the burger inside just cheese. When confronted it was rectified but was told by restaurant manager she would knock the onion rings off the bill (big deal). The staff were faultless andy very friendly.Nice clean rooms and love the apple mac in the room, nice bed and slept well for four nights will return without a doubt. The only fault i can think of it has no swimming pool but thats all.

We came for a birthday weekend. The room was not huge, but very well fitted. Breakfast is very good, and staff are friendly and efficient. Good resteraunts within walking distance. Shame that the car parking is an additional 5pounds a day.

Check in and check out was super efficient. Very friendly staff who make you feel welcomed. Room was very nice. The Apple Mac was a nice touch. Free WiFi helped also. Breakfast was plentiful. Will definitely when I'm back here. It was quite expensive for the two nights, most likely because there were a few concerts nearby that week.
