We stayed here on a recent visit to Glasgow. Our room was comfortable enough but the hotel had a tired feel to it. This is evident on arrival where the car park is needing some attention with weeds on display and many spaces blocked off for no apparent reason. I had never used a garden inn before and it certainly appears to be a lower class than a standard Hilton. The breakfast room was full in the morning and people had to wait for tables, without any assistance from staff. The table we had was extremely low and very close to other people which didn’t help as the man at the table next to us had an extremely loud voice and punctuated every sentence with an expletive beginning with F. We couldn’t even move table as there was none available. The breakfast itself was poor quality from a Hilton viewpoint - no fruit, tables weren’t cleared of dirty plates, we had to do so ourselves, the fried eggs were unappealing etc....all in all, not impressed.
