If you are staying in Glasgow this is a must to visit. Fabulous food and 1st class service. This is a real find and is less than a 5 minute walk from all the amenities in the city centre.

Recently had a champagne afternoon tea here with my husband. The scones were wonderful. Absolutely delicious. Relaxed and comfortable surroundings with pleasant, attentive service.

We went along this evening and found a lovely atmosphere. Our member of the waiting staff, Debra, was delightful. Main course, cote de boeuf cooked to perfection, nicely charred, but placed on our table and we were left to fend for ouselves! Think it should have been carved at the table since they are aspiring to become one of Glasgow's Fine Dining restaurants. All we were told was "You have steak a steak knife with which to cut, sir." Also, someone should have mentioned to the chef that bearnaise sauce contains at least tarragon and chervil and is not some bland frothy butter mix. As for the pannacota, we think the chef should find a lighter recipe, one that has far less gelatine, perhaps made with whole vanilla pods as there was no sign of said ingredient. If there was any, it must have been flavouring only. Again this was brought to the attention of the restaurant Manager who then apologised and said "That's the way our chef serves it." Avoided coffee and tea. Lovely place and staff but leaves a lot to be desired if trying to achieve the accolade of Glasgow's Fine Dining Restaurant. Shame for the staff that are trying so hard.

We went for my nephew's birthday using steak and bubbly vouchers. Wow these steaks are to die for. Shared between 2, each pair of us ordered it cooked differently- rare, medium rare and medium. You MUST try these steaks, they are wonderful. My only gripe would be sides and sauces are extra. My 8 year old son scoffed his granny's rabbit starter, then managed his own 2 courses from the reasonably priced children's menu. Well be back!

This was such a disappointment I have been to this venue before for afternoon tea and had thourghly enjoyed it and would have recommended it to friends and family. Not now My family had gone for Sunday lunch and had to wait 45 minutes before main course was served then we had to sit at a dirty table full of empty dishes for another 30 minutes till the staff cleared. This is not the fault of the waiting staff. The restaurant was busy and presumbly all had booked so why had management not arranged for the correct number of staff.I had asked to speak to the Manager and was told that no Manager was available. I am very disappointed in this establishment. The only plus in this whole debacle was that the food was pretty good but you lose sight of this when the place is severly short staffed
