We stayed here for one night. The room was fairly big and had tea/coffee, TV, hairdryer and Wifi was available for a charge ( free down in the main reception area). The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The bathroom was fairly spacious with a good shower.
We managed to get an early check in which was very handy. The bar/ restaurant looked nice but we didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food.
The hotel is about a 15/20min walk from Central Station. It is a good location , near the Kings Theatre and Sauchiehall street.

Stayed here on business at short notice - and got a good price which was slightly more than the usual budget hotels.
Check in was easy - I'd booked online so it should have been. The gentleman on reception was friendly and very helpful and a credit to the hotel.
Room was of a decent size - and I was impressed by the shower. A little wear and tear but very clean.
The food in available seemed competitively priced if rather limited in range. I didn't eat there as was meeting friends at The Griffin just around the corner but a colleague did and said it was excellent.
Breakfast was buffet style - but was tasty and the service to refilling and clearing was attentive.
The hotel is located on the city centre outskirts but still well situated for many bars and restaurants. There is the large Kings Theatre nearby so it would be great for taking in a show.

I was very pleased with the service and quality at this hotel - particularly for the bargain price I paid - I'd choose to stay there again.

Stayed twice over the week.

Check in always a problem despite advertising from midday

Other than that nothing to complain over, parking is a bit of a pain but not the hotels fault. Staff were good espcially the night staff (andy)? Will stay again minus the car!

Stayed two nights in this hotel. It is about 10 minutes walk downhill to downtown. The price was very low compared to what you get. The room was very clean and ISIC card holders get free breakfast. The hotel had a lot of 20-somethings staying. It is in a safe part of town. The room didn't have much air flow because the A/C system relies on outside temperature not the temperature in the room, so we opened the window to cool down.

Room Tip: Select a room facing the back and you can open the window with no outside noise.

My Fiancé and I stayed here not too long ago.The room was clean with a fairly standard hotel room size (double room),Bathrooms were clean and the staff were more than helpful.I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel to people with the need for a wheelchair or families with prams as the shortest route to the city centre is up and down hills (this is scotland however so hills are everywhere),so if you were in this circumstance you'd probably be reliant on taxis. It's right opposite a police station too for those interested in safety,so A+ for that.Overall, very pleasant stay.Thank you.

My husband and i went to the Ibis in August for a short break, the hotel is very clean outside and in. We found the staff very oblidging, we had a problem getting to the hotel as there are a number of streets one way system, so i called the hotel and receptionist was very nice and helpful with her directions. When we got to our room it is a bit basic but, had everthing you need for the time you spend in your room. The only critic i have is that we were right across from a generator and the noise is going all the time, we had to keep the window shut at night as it too noisy to have it open. We had a lovely time in Glasgow and will definetly be back.

Room Tip: If we were to go back to this hotel i would definitly ask for a room at the other side.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in November 2011.
We stayed in a double room for two nights and the hotel provides everything you expect in an ibis. It was clean and tidy with welcoming staff. The check in desk area can get a little overcrowded at times but all in all, this is a great budget hotel.
