My favourite Glasgow hotel - the most central to places of interest, midway between Kelvingrove (park, university, museums) and Merchant City (restaurants) areas, near School of Art.
Comfortable room.
Breakfast not so good this time though - we had been warned that there would be a big group between 7:30 and 8:30, but most breakfast stuff still hadn't been replenished by 9:15.

Hello Mr Cousins

Thank you for your review in regards your recent stay. As you mentioned the delay with breakfast this weekend was not our usual standard so I do appreciate your patience with us.

I hope we can look forward to your next visit.

Close to the city center, big comfortable bed, big room, big bathroom, very clean, there was no problem that we came early and we did check in at 10 a.m., really best price for that quality. Definitely recommend it...

This is the second time I stayed here.Bargain price of £ 36 per night. The rooms are spacious, the pod bathroom has got the best, strongest shower I have ever come across.Bed is great, firm but comfy. The first night boy racers were going round and round...and round...and round. The Police is aware, but they can't do anything. But, you d hear these in any hotel in the City if you sleep at the front. After that night, the lovely reception team offered me a room at the back which I happily took them up upon.
The staff is brilliant and their service is truly second to none.Location is great too, central to Buchanan Bus Station, Queen and Central Station and Buchanan, Sauchiehall, Argyle Street and the, Clyde. In fact, I walked everywhere...the Cathedral, Merchant Quarter and to the Tall Ship and the Armadillo ...My eye is on the special offers again, I ll be back ;0))

I was lucky enough to book 2 nights for a bargain £ 72 . This is the second time I stayed here. Extremely close to all you need : Buchanan Bus station ( for the airport bus ), Queen Station and Central Station are all within 5 minutes walk. Sauchiehall Street is just around the corner, so are 4 supermarkets who have all you need . The rooms are spacious and the pod like bathroom has got the best shower I have ever come across !! The first night I had a room at the front. Unfortunately there are boy racers who kept going round...and round...and round..and round the block. Nothing the hotel can do about, after all, Police HQ is directly opposite. When I mentioned it to reception the next morning , they immediately offered me a room at the back . Needless to say, I slept like a log !!
I didn t bother booking breakfast, because I either went to a little Café on Sauchiehall Street or any of the many sandwich bars that can be found everywhere.
I love the Ibis, its great value for money and staff who are immensely helpful . I ll be going again :)

Room Tip: if you come at the weekend, ask for a room at the back

Good hotel, used it a number of times. Good position for a walk in the city and near to decent selection of places to eat and drink. Breakfast has improved recently with a better selection of food and drink. Difficult to beat for £51.94 B&B

The room was bigger than any hotel room I have stayed in the past year. Extra pillows, big shower, tea & coffee making facilities, tv, comfy bed, black out blinds. Staff were nice, 24 hour snack bar. You can get an early breakfast from 4am right through til 12 noon. Good value for money.

Room Tip: The room we stayed in was on 4th floor, and although the view was of other buildings, it was quiet.

This was exactly what you need in a budget hotel. There was a capsule shower room with good shower. Comfortable bed. The room was quiet. They were friendly at reception. It is close to Sauchiehall Street where there are lots of restaurants and bars.
