We were welcomed by a very friendly and efficient receptionist on our arrival.
The room was spacious with a lovely comfy bed and very clean.
We stayed two nights - the location was perfect for a long weekend.

I got the bus from the airport (£8 one way and every 10 minutes) and the bus driver was really helpful in instructing me to get off at the first stop, (walking back the way the bus had come) to the traffic lights then walking to the right up the hill (about 7 or 8 mins) to see this hotel down a street (West Regent) on the left. The staff were helpful and attentive and the hotel was what I expected. My first room smelled really strongly of bleach but the staff quickly moved me to another room with no fuss (this was impressive). New room was nice - basic but clean with a TV and tea making facilities. The carpets in the room were those hard wearing washable types (in sludge brown) - I am sure they were not as grubby as they look but I was glad I had taken slippers!! Breakfast was fine and I got a free (i) newspaper which was great. The location of this hotel is great as was the price.

Room Tip: Take slippers!

I stayed here with my partner for one night. Although the service was good at reception etc...when we entered the room there was rubbish still laying around from the previous guest. Although when I rang reception, housekeeping attended and apologised within 5 minutes. That was impressive.

The property is about a ten minute walk from Central station and around the corner from the Centre of Contemporary Arts. It's in a quiet area and I had no issue with noise except the TV from the room next door.

I did request a high floor room away from the elevator which was acknowledged at check-in.
