We stayed in the Ibis for two nights for the Commonwealth Games. The rooms are small, as always with a huge shower in the bathroom. It is clean, well priced and the TV works! Rooms have air conditioning too. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, which is a buffet affair. Staff extremely helpful. They stored our bags and couldn't have been more helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room that does not overlook the street with the police station in it as you might get...

The slogan People Make Glasgow was put to test when receptionist treated poorly as we tried to check-in. He was rude, claimed I gave him the wrong name at check-in, told us we had no reservation, asked for another name then found the reservation under the name I originally given and proceeded to state I gave him the wrong name.

Got a great rate on line, standard Ibis hotel with friendly staff. A little far from Central railway station by foot but only £3.50 by taxi which arrive quickly when called by the hotel. Nothing outside the front door so buy your snacks etc before heading back to the hotel.

Great room, very welcoming and obliging staff. Parking in Glasgow is generally expensive but hotel offers a discount in a nearby multi-storey (£12 per 24hrs).
Don't have anything else to say but Trip Advisor won't let me submit my review unless I use 200 characters!
