I have stayed in this hotel twice in the last 6 months and on both occassions have been disapointed. When you pay £79 per night you would expect to get a good nights sleep not to be kept awake by Air Conditioning directly over the bed in a chostrephobic room so narrow that thet must have struggled to get the bed in and they had to use the high window sill to take the Kettle for coffee.
When I stayed in August I made the mistake of having dinner in the hotel and it cinsisted of cold souip, Fish that was supposed to be haddock but was in fact Hake on a bed of cold peas/
When I complained to the waiting staff they did not seem to be interested and it took the frint of House manager to refund the cost of the meal.
This hotel needs to be spot checked by Visit scotland for it does not come up to a 2 star rating been in better Guest houses.
I travel on business and have instructed my booker that I will never stay in this hotel again. In my estimation this is low class commercial hotel charging very expensively for the privilege.
The night I stayed was the Celtic match night in December.More
