I went here and was expecting a club room, which I got, I was also expecting a double which I did not get. I was stuffed up in the rafters with a bed squashed against a wall so did not sleep.

The staff were particularly unhelpful but I did get payment back and stayed the night!

I would never want to go back to this hotel and would suggest others avoid it as well.

Breakfast was as expected at a Millennium hotel.

Stayed here again for our regular shopping trip to Glasgow. Travel by train and the hotel is on the doorstep of the station. Makes such a difference being able to leave luggage immediately getting off train. Also, luggage can be collected from the concierge within minutes of train departure. Hotel is also in the centre of the shopping/entertainment district with a great selection of both shops and restaurants. Twin room was a good size, very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was perfect.

All in all another perfect trip to Glasgow!!

Me and my partner were staying here for 2nights for my birthday. Paying just under £200 the state of the hotel was horrendous. Outdated and dirty with mould patches on the bathroom roof! Our room was on the third floor and roasting hot! Air con did not not work and with a central location having the windows open resulted in a poor noisy sleep. Definitely would not recommend this hotel! A travelodge would make for a better night sleep!

Adjacent to Queen's Street station and overlooking George Square the hotel is ideally situated for visiting Glasgow. So many attractions within easy reach either on foot , taxi, bus or underground, visitors will find the hotel an ideal base.
Attentive staff, though restaurant and breakfast service is slow. Twice I have found that the breakfast is not up to par. Either lukewarm food, the chafing dishes do not keep food hot, or the juices, cold food and hot food need topping up. A job that should be attended to by any observant staff. I'm not the only one who has had to wait over 25 minutes for my evening meal to be served and though the view onto George Square can occupy you it is far too long a wait. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean.

They are currently doing some renovations on the outside of the hotel so there may be noise on weekdays.

We booked a club room which was very, very rooming and well decorated.

This is a classic hotel in a great location.

The beds were very comfortable with great pillows.

The air conditioning worked well but you could also open the windows in the room.

The bathroom was very roomy and clean and everything worked very well.

We did not have a chance to try the dining room or bar but did go to the club bar for happy hour and had a nice time. It had a selection of a few beers, some wine and pops as well as some basic snacks.

The internet was fast and free.
The TV was modern with a reasonable selection of channels.

Concierge service was very good, I used them to pick up my bags in the morning and deliver them to a taxi.

Room Tip: Book a club room to gets lots of space

Business trip to Glasgow and work booked me in the Millennium Hotel.

One arrival at my room it had an awful smell of industrialness - the "view" out of the window was of dirty discarded filters, rubber gloves and I just hope that these were not air con filters with H&S issues.... I have forwarded photos to experts to get their view.

Rudely awoken at 0700 by engineers on the room shouting and looking into windows.

Totally awful experience and I have feed back to our company corporate booking agents never to book staff in here again.

I have to agree with all the recent posts. Stayed here last Saturday. This is not a quality hotel unfortunately. Location is great as we were at a function close by. However rooms are small, old, very warm (air con useless). We were also charged for breakfast which we did not have. Wouldn't waste my money if I were you.
