On our work's night out tonight 30 of us headed from our restuarant in taxis to O'neils. On entering the bar there was a really great atmosphere with a live band playing. However, after 20 of us had got in and settled at a table with drinks the last 10 were told by the bouncers at the door (at 11pm) that the bar was closed to anyone else coming in!!!!! We thought the bouncer was joking - but he wasn't . There were lots of people leaving at this point but we were still told no one else was getting in. I spoke to the manager and he explained that due to a shortage of staff there was a one out one in policy at the door. I had to get the manager to go out and explain this to his bouncers. They were not the least bit sorry. Just high and mighty and full of there own power. Well, needless to say we took our business elsewhere and will not be back. Lack of communication and unfriendly bouncers. Kind of spoiled an otherwise great night.
