I regularly visit the lunch time theatre offerings at Oran Mor ' Play Pie and A Pint. ' It can be a hit or a miss whether I like the play but I always enjoy the overall experience. It's an educated, theatrical audience so the emphasis is on the PLAY and not the PINT. Many patrons take a sandwich because a pie isn't enough as a lunch. Something to consider although there are many many good eaters near by to go to before you go in or after the play. Everyone is typically 'Glaswegian' friendly and the chat afterwards in the bar of Oran Mor just makes the whole afternoon experience perfect. Wednesday tickets are a little cheaper and therefore a Wednesday is uber busy.....get there early to get a good seat. I just love being transported into a different world in the middle of the afternoon..there is no BAD theatre just DIFFERENT. It's great!!!
