“Dull, dull, dull”

Dull food, decor like a rehab clinic and really the worst manager maybe owner the way the girl acted. Almost anywhere else in shawlands is better. This place probably should be west end - all hype!

“Very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2013

Great. Visited on weekday for lunch. Good menu, generous portions, good children's menu, prices reasonable. Staff nice. A bit dark inside. Child/family friendly, but plenty of room to avoid buggies too. Really good selection of cakes. Prompt service.

“Local favourite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2013

We visit biscuit probably at least once a week for lunch/brunch. The regular menu has plenty of choice and the specials are always just that. The weekend brunch menu is perfect whether you have a hangover or not. We get particularly excited when the pulled pork is on. The prices are reasonably, the food delicious and the service quick and friendly and you never feel rushed even when it's busy. The home made cakes and delicious coffee also make it a great spot to meet friends or just hangout and enjoy a treat. No where locally does what they do better.

“Best breakfast in Shawlands!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2013 via mobile

Although expensive Biscuit offers the best breakfast in Shawlands. It's perfectly cooked every time and the black pudding is worth the price alone. The cakes are also not bad (although I wouldn't recommend the chocolate scone!) and the coffee is good also. The ikea high chairs are great (so much better than the other high chairs on offer in other tea rooms) Staff are friendly and everything is clean. Would definitely recommend.
