Whether it is for an intimate meal, to take the family out or even to enjoy a curry with a group of friends, our restaurant will provide a unique experience. Why not start your meal with our unique starters which range from delicious keema padora to our much heralded lamb chops or even our freshly cooked fish pakora. Other curries such as our lamb chilli ginger and our punjabi garlic chilli provide a unique twist to the classic curry everyone loves. No description of the Punjabi would be complete without mentioning our newest creation:the lamb Gurmeet. With such depth of choice one visit is simply not enough.

My friends and I went in for dinner on Saturday night and were blown away by the food and service (Punjabi Garlic Chilli was the agreed highlight)... We had planned to go next door to the pub after dinner but ended up having a long chat with the owner and there are even greater things on the horizon for this restaurant! We had dinner at 7:30 and the hospitality was so warm and gracious that we never made it to the pub til nearly 11 at which point we were joined by the owner so that we could continue our chat! It's slightly out of the way of the centre but is so very worth the visit! 5/5 and it would be 6 if you could!

We were in Glasgow to play a gig.
Our favourite Indian restaurant in Edinburgh (The Himalaya) has just closed down after nearly 40 years in business. We have tried lots of places since to no avail. Here the main man is a gent and the chef’s food is brilliant. Top drawer.

Punjabi Charing Cross is a little off the beaten track but well worth searching it out. Delicious food with warm and friendly hospitality from the owner Taq & his staff. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Tasty food and nice discussion with the owner.
The menu is a bit hard to understand... Just explain what you like an they'll guide you.
Reasonable prices.

I love this place, we’ve been for 5 trips to Glasgow in a row and each one has been superb. This year there were 9 of us. The standard of food we received, coupled with the standard of service was amazing. The manager could not do enough. I genuinely wish I lived closer.
