I had a Christmas shopping weekend in Glasgow with a friend and stayed here. For the price it was excellent and included breakfast. The rooms were clean, tidy and quiet. The hotel is right by the train station and the shopping area. A number of nice bars are nearby. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is at the top of Argyle St, be careful to turn right towards the SECC and not left as its a long street. The street itself is a bit grotty opposite the hotel but once you get inside it is lovely, friendly and warm.

We were greeted very well by the receptionist Valerie who was very helpful, our room seemed to be in the newer part of the hotel and the room was large and not overly warm. The only reason this hotel loses a star is that there was no shower gel or shampoo in the room which is standard and the window shook a bit when it was windy.

However, these are minor issues, there is a lovely little bar which is open till midnight and a nice dining area with a super breakfast. B&B for two people a night was £49. It really can't be beaten. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Location is fantastic, two minutes walk from all the shops and the train station.

Big room and big bathroom. The shower pressure wasn't great but that really doesn't bother me. Lovely staff. Good breakfast buffet with attentive staff. Clearly a popular hotel. Tartan carpet - yay!!! Right by the train station. Recommended.

Room was clean and good size for what I needed. Breakfast was bog standard buffet style with dryed out bacon. Fried eggs with no soft yolks. The machine coffee was not good. Shame attention to detail is missin in a lot of areas as could be lovely with a little work. But for me I personally would pay the extra next time to feel that bit special on my trip

This is second time we have stayed here an have no complaints. we had a huge warm clean room and a powerful shower. The friendly staff could not have been more helpful .Fresh towels and room cleaned every day. Great choice at breakfast, excellent value for money .close to pubs and shops and handy for both bus and train stations.
