There was plenty of hot water and good pressure.
Good provisions of tea & coffees with plenty of sugar sachets. Bottled water a bonus. Breakfast was good, plenty of it. My room was at the back and so it was quiet. Very spacious with all that was needed.
Location excellent close to Central Station and the shopping areas.

Not deal breakers but they do need attention.
1. Shower curtain absolutely filthy, either clean it or get rid of it. Room 108
2. Dust on the toilet roll bracket.
3. Blacken windows outside hotel makes it look seedy, you could brighten this up by having a local artist paint it (maybe from a local art college) or put details outlining the facilities of the hotel. This will make it more pleasing to the eye.
4. Double glazing is a must. The room was cold, no extra blankets available.
5. Internet was non existent, could not connect at all, for business travellers this would be unexceptable.

Room Tip: The room I was in was at the back, it was very quiet.

I stayed here for three nights and think it was a very good hotel. The only thing that spoilt it was the noise of the traffic and inconsiderate people talking at the tops of their voices at silly o clock. Also the walls were very thin. Found it very clean good breakfast apart from the bacon a bit rubbery. I think if I go again I would chose a room at the back of the hotel. Nice touches are plenty of tea and coffee in your room toiletries and bottles of water which I've never seen before. Nice staff also. I would return here for another visit.

After reading reviews both good and bad we decided to chance it as we had never stayed here before and i would say don't read the reviews until you have stayed its not as bad as they say.

We arrived after 2pm and went to the desk the women was very helpful and polite, took our details and told us where the room was, the reception area was very clean, when going upstairs we noticed a man in a booth, not sure if he was manager or porter but pointed us to the right direction.

I thought the hotel room would have been really old fashion but i was surprised as it was very nice and tidy and just ideal for an overnight stay, As showing in the picture it was ideal. The bed was comfy and the room was warm and had tv on wall so no hassle getting up to turn it off as theres a remote

There is kettle,2 cups,2glasses,tea,coffee and biscuits and 2 spoons and lots of mini milks and two bottles of water. There is also a table so women can sit and do there hair and also stand and look at them self in the mirror , not many hotels have two mirrors along side each other.

The bathroom was good size and you don't have to take shampoo and soap as they provided it so just remember toothpaste and brush. The shower was very warm and ideal as it had been raining all day since we got to glasgow.

The hotel also has free wifi that guests can use when staying, code is based in the room.

Breakfast was from 7.30am untill 9.30am and good range of buffet and cereals yogurts, and hot drinks and cold drinks etc i felt the sausages and bacon was hard but still nice to eat.

The only bad points were

1. No bathmat in the bath tub
2. The view from the window looked onto a alley at the back of the hotel and lots of trees and 2 big massive buildings

Overall if your looking for a cheap hotel and next to the train station then try this one. For any info just Pm me.

Great location, nice staff just very dirty unfortunately. The bathroom was just plain filthy, wore trainers whilst in there. There was dust all over the place on furniture, carpets, wardrobe & ledges.
