You get what you pay for. The lift is extremely slow (you can walk faster from ground to fourth). The room itself wasn't too bad, though the springs on one side of the double bed were the worse for wear - could definitely do with a new mattress. Beds are the real difference in any hotel - a decent firm mattress, a mattress protector and clean, clean bedding are a must.
Breakfast on the other hand was a professional operation. I judge a hotel breakfast by the quality of its sausages, and these were on the right side of average. Then again, there was no granola, nor natural yogurt however the weetabix was perfectly acceptable.
Oh, and the wi-fi, while free, did cut out a couple of times during my fours nights there.More
