Very basic hotel, was meant to be executive rooms, but were not by far, had to climb on pipe boxing to get into bed, Clean, and food good, very tired looking from outside, had to use public bar o arrival, although bars in hotel. Not bad value for money, staff pleasant.

4 night stay to attend the UDO Street Dance Championships at the SECC. I was impressed with the friendly staff and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Would stay again. Large car park was an advantage as we had two mini buses

got this hotel on a good deal from laterooms. We also chose bit because it has a large car park. It is good value. We had booked a double but asked for and got a twin room which was actually a double and single bed. This was fine , the double bed was a wee bit lumby on one side, The room was large and had a large TV. Bathroom big but only had a shower above bath. The cooked breakfast was excellent well cooked and top quality. The cereal choice was poor. The breakfast staff were great and reception staff very helpful, one printed me a route map to go to Loch Lomond.
There is a frequent l,ocal bus no 21 to Glasgow centre just out side hotel. A day ticket may be worth looking at.~(see glasgowtransport web pages)

I stayed here for nearly a week in November/December - it was my second visit after a seven year gap. It is very handy for our HQ in Glasgow. The room was a good size for me as a single business traveller and just about correctly priced, but not what I would bring my family to.
I arrived a little lateish (c. 1030pm - but earlier than I had warned them) after 10 hours travelling from the Continent. There was some difficulty in obtaining some food, despite a party being still in full swing and there were other nights when one felt that residents were less prioritised than their many party guests. The noise was just about bearable at times that week, but not really comfortable. However, the staff were friendly in general and did their best within the parameters they had.
Overall, a great place for an Xmas works do, but, to tempt me back, some considerable investment and refurbishment is needed. The guest photos are fairly accurate. (The menus also need a serious overhaul too!)

Set in Rutherglen opposite Overtoun Park. A good car park and very helpful staff. Nice rooms very spacious and comfortable. Good bar and restaurant. Food excellent for dinner and breakfast. Sometimes have parties on which can be noisy. On a bus route only 15 minute ride to the City Centre

Booked this hotel for a group staying in Glasgow before a graduation ball as it was the only hotel left in Glasgow due to the Stone Roses gig....at first wasn't too keen but when we arrived at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised! We paid £125 for the 'deluxe suite', which was roughly 25 quid each and to be fair, the room was fine, if a bit small. It felt quite cramped, but we were grateful we had got a room so we were very pleased! It's a very clean hotel, our room was spotless and the tea and coffee making facilities were excellent. Must give a shout out for the brilliant staff, they were very friendly and efficient, especially the woman who was working, she said she'd worked there for 20odd years and was a brilliant laugh! The breakfast next morning was amazing too and you cannot fault it for the price!
Overall, great experience, I would definitely be back here! Perhaps not suitable for disabled guests didn't see a lift, could be wrong though. This is the kind of hotel that Glasgow needs, friendly, well priced, great staff and brilliant food!
