“ELVIS: Most EXPENSIVE Cinema Showing ever”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2014

Went to see ' ELVIS ON STAGE ' on Sunday 4 May 2014 - '' overall production create the illusion that Elvis is on stage for one of his finest concert performances as seen '' Aye right !!! It was the most expensive cinema ticket I have ever bought. The holograms were pretty poor - poor Elvis had nae feet at times !! Having said that it was a most enjoyable film with vg sound, backed with a live band + singers .
The venue? if you are going to a show there join a gym and get fit first. The lifts are few and slow slow slow. Plenty stairs and poor signage. Prepare for constant interruptions with drinkers back and forward, either for a top up or a fluid discharge.
Will only return here when Elvis leaves the chip shop for a live show.

“Clyde Auditorium”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

I visited recently to see Jeff Dunham. Despite our seats being in the upper circle and quite far from the stage, we could still see clearly and it didn't detract from the show. The new multi-storey car park ensured that there were no issues finding a parking space - although it did take about 45 minutes to get back out afterwards. Adding another exit would be helpful and I'm sure they could easily afford it with the £7 cost of parking. The venue itself was clean and bright with comfortable seats and adequate space around them. There were a couple of toilets which were blocked, but staff had placed bins across the top to indicate this and prevent anyone else using them. I was also impressed with the number of toilets - this is the first venue I've been to where I haven't spent the entire interval in a toilet queue. The situation with bars is similar: with one on each floor, there was plenty time to buy a drink and get back to our seats during the interval. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Overall, we were quite impressed by our first visit and will definitely be back.

“Not People Friendly”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

Just been to see final tour of Dancing on Ice which was absolutely fantastic.
Unfortunately the same can't be said for the venue.
I saw people of "a certain age" struggle to get up to the upper floors and seats, and there are no handrails either. Surely this is a health and safety problem!
Also, there are no facilities outside for the smokers to dispose of their cigarettes.
I know we are a dying breed, but just having to throw our cigarettes away, makes the venue look a mess and detracts from the outside look of the building.
Give us an ashtray please.
