“Godd food, great music, fantastic day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2012

Had purchased a voucher via KGB deals for the Big Band Sunday Brunch. First visit to the Ferry. It isn't a huge venue but what it lacks in size, the staff make up for with their warm welcome and first class service. Food was very enjoyable. We had burgers, pasta, ice cream (unusual flavours- turkish delight and peanut brittle- which were nice) and apple crumble - only complaint was it wasn't piping hot. If you like big band music, you'll enjoy this 16 piece band - there might be a few gray hairs within but once a great musician, always a great musician. Music arrangements were enjoyable and with songs like Mack the Knife and New York New York, the afternoon passed far too quickly. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit

“Another excellent night at the Ferry - Who's Next Friday 25th May 2012”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2012 via mobile

I regularly visit the Ferry for music, and it's always an excellent experience. Great staff, superb tribute band - thanks for another great night guys!

I ate there at lunch time on Sunday 27th May. Sat outside and enjoyed the glorious weather with a lovely bowl of chilli. Very nice!

“Eat somewhere else”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2012

Don't bother with the meal deal before the band. They ask to you arrive at 6pm but that's a long wait till the band comes on at 9pm! You are going to get a sore butt. (Why not have a band on for the diners guys?). Food is school dinner style, sausage and mash and a stodgy apple crumble. Poor quality and overpriced. Venue is getting a bit tired and has an odd split level, a little small downstairs and crowded out by tables upstairs. OK if it's half full but would not want to be there in a crush. Staff friendly but indifferent. Some bands a lot better than others...do your homework...but good value at £10. Suggest eat something edible before turning up at 9 and take a punt who knows you may get lucky....

“Fabulous fun at the Ferry”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2012

Went to see Carl Palmer at the Ferry. What a fantastic night out. The staff were brilliant - nothing was too much effort for them, the food was amazing and the gig was spectacular.
I would recommend a trip to the Ferry if you haven't already been there.
We intend to go back for lunch sometime soon.
I would definitely take in another gig.

“Excellent venue all round!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2012

I've been going to the Ferry regulary for a while now to see tribute acts; Who's Next, Straighten Out etc., and it's an excellent venue, really nice staff, brilliant food, great atmosphere every time. Going back in a couple of weeks to see a Queen tribute and Who's Next again. I would highly recommend it!!
