“Excellent place in the middle of Glasgow”
Reviewed 27 November 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A spacious, modern apartment with a quirky, charming style to its furnishing. We were four people living very comfortably during our stay in Glasgow - the central location of this place makes it the perfect base of operations for a thorough exploration of everything the city has to offer. Highly recommended!

“Cool, close to the city centre and amazingly quiet”
Reviewed 2 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A well furnished, spacious and secure apartment close to the heart of Glasgow (just around the corner from the Theatre Royal). The apartment had everything we needed, wifi was fast and furnishings were cool, quirky and modern. For the same price as a hotel room in the city centre, we got 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a large living area, so compared to other places nearby it offered good value for money. We didn't hear any noise from the street (it is on a side street off a main road) and parking in the attended car park opposite was handy. The agent was very helpful and was happy for us to rearrange furniture to suit our needs. If you like open plan living, this place is for you (and if not, you can section areas off with mobile screens).

Liked best: Proximity to city centre, yet it was amazingly quiet and secure
Liked least: The apartment could benefit from having a tv in the main living area (although there is one in each bedroom)

“Great chill-out pad”
Reviewed 27 August 2012 for a stay in August 2012

We were on a week long road trip from London, taking in the Lake District, Ayrshire and Glasgow. The final three days were spent at Ottoloft, and it was the perfrect end to our trip, allowing us to chill-out, walk around Glasgow, get out to the Kelvingrove Museum and just take in Glasgow at our own pace. It's quite a unique layout but works perfectly and is very comfortable and quiet.

“Ottoloft - very well located , fresh contemporary and secure .”
Reviewed 8 August 2012 for a stay in June 2012

This recently architecturally renovated condo sleeps 5, is clean, fresh and well presented in an excellent location to walk to highlights of central Glasgow and less than 300meters to the underground allowing quick and efficent access to most of Glasgow's traveling attractions.
Whilst there is no Wi-Fi, 2 very close cafes offer free access. There is a fully appointed kitchen for home catering and cooking and the shower, bathroom and washing and drying facilities are good.Certainly recommend this place as good value for a short of more prolonged stay in central Glasgow .

I'm SO sorry you didn't mention the wi-fi during your stay - it is part of the Sky package & the code for it is on the back of the router, what a shame! Hope to welcome you back for another visit. Many thanks for your review.

“Fantastic Gem in the City Centre - A Definite Must For Your Stay in Glasgow”
Reviewed 25 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

My husband and I stayed at Ottoloft for our wedding week. We had an overall fantastic experience from start to finish and would eagerly recommend Ottoloft to anyone needing self-catering accommodation in Glasgow. During our wedding week we held a welcome reception for our guests, and everyone absolutely raved about the place. Several of our guests asked for Ottoloft contact information so that when they next visited Glasgow they too could stay at Ottoloft! There are too many positive aspects to mention, and so I will highlight some of the best below.

PROS
- Location: located in the city centre, Ottoloft is a 5 minute walk from the night life on Sauchiehall and Bath Streets and shopping at the Buchanan Galleries. Parking is readily available in nearby garages or on street. There is also a small market around the corner for your quick grocery needs, and a larger Sainsbury is located near the Buchanan Galleries. A wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and pubs is close by.
- Service: working with Monica to secure Ottoloft was a flawless and painless experience. She responds quickly to communications and makes every effort to ensure that you're stay is comfortable.
- Furnishings: all Ottoloft furnishings are well-appointed and high end. The bed is super comfortable and was a dream to sleep on. The kitchen has everything you require for self-catering. If there is something additional you require, Monica is more than happy to work with you to secure it.
- Layout: the layout is an open loft plan which provides a large, airy feel -- nonetheless, it is designed to afford privacy when sleeping, with moveable, sliding partitions that extend across the bedroom and the lounge (which can serve as a second bedroom). Monica and her team thought of everything when designing this loft!
- Amenities: there was no amenity that we lacked during our stay, and the fact that Ottoloft includes such luxurious amenities as washer/dryer made our stay that much better. There's nothing that we lacked, and I'm sure if there was something we required, a quick call to Monica would have solved the issue.

“This is a very stylish place to stay in Glasgow, and just about silent though totally central”
Reviewed 11 March 2012 for a stay in February 2012

This is a very stylish place to stay in Glasgow, and just about silent though totally central. The living area is a modern stage set – with curtains, of course, so there’s no audience participation. The kitchen, video room and main bedroom fan out stage left, and can be shut off with screens. It’s a very pleasant area for cooking and dining; views of chimney pots and distant buildings eastwards. About two hundred yards south, past the Piping Centre and opposite the Theatre Royal, there’s a couple of very good places for brunch. About the same distance westwards is the subway station, for the West End or the mysterious South Side. But really, you can walk just about everywhere from this flat. And if it should ever rain (which does happen in Glasgow, now and again), it’s a great place to spend a rainy day, really atmospheric. We’ll be back.
