“Nice park”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

I enjoyed Tollcross Park, having spent many hours wandering about. Although it's meant to be in a "rough" part of Glasgow, one wouldn't notice that by walking through this peaceful, beautiful park. It is quite big, so suitable for people who want to walk around for hours.

“Rose Garden Tollcross Park Glasgow”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

If you are thinking of coming to the Commonwealth Games next July and are taking in the swimming events then you will be visiting the East end's Tollcross Park. Whether or not you are a gardener you should also take in during your visit, the award winning rose garden which, at this time of the year will be in full bloom. Rose experts from around the world visit this site which has many award winning roses cultivated especially for the park. If you saw an aerial photo of the main rose garden you would see that the various beds formed the shape of a rose. Beside the rose garden there are many delightful walks and a place of peace with a small animal enclosure which is delight for adults and children

“Another Public Park in Glasgows East End to Beware off.”
Reviewed 29 February 2012

Nice to visit during the day. Has a Public Swimming Pool and Health Centre in one corner. Unfortunately bordered by Tollcross, and other rough areas making it unsafe at night.

“One of the nicest things about Glasgow, Scotland, is the multitude of Parks...”
Reviewed 25 February 2012

Tollcross Park is a beautiful place, I visited there in the depths of winter, in February 2012, and it is a very well maintained, and a good place to visit. Just now the "Winter Gardens" there, a magnificent Victorian glass house, is closed for renovation... But the park itself is just lovely. Well worth a visit!
