We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour of the UK. Rooms were pretty large for European standards, and the main lobby was very modern. Only slight complaint was a lack of computers in their business area. One computer was available and there was always a line of people waiting to use it. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay. Loved the bank of elevators with glass walls but the buttons were a bit confusing (seemed like nobody knew how to use them to reach the correct floor).

No words can describe a hotel in which the staff claim the noise from the bar is beyond their control. Complained at 2.30am told not much they could do as the bar was 24 hours then phoned again at 3.30am to be told what noise?!
By the time we had tried to drown out the noise with the air conditioning, having the tv on to drown it out and then stuffing cotton wool in our ears we had no choice than to pack our bags and leave in a taxi at 3.45am!
By the way we were staying in a Corner Suite supposedly the best they had.
You could not pay us top stay in that hotel, literally EVER again.

Room Tip: Don't book here

Nice hotel in the heart of Glasgow. Reception staff very good and attentive and the young lady I spoke to a couple of times was very knowledgeable about the local area and the hotel facilities (not always the case).
The buffet breakfast in the dining room had a very good selection and some a la carte items including smoked haddock, kippers and eggs benedict.
We stayed in a junior suite at the front of the hotel which was very retro 60's style and had wooden floors, quite nice, with a large bathroom with tub and separate shower cubicle. My only complaint was that I found the bed a little hard for my liking and didn't have a very good sleep, pillows very also too hard, maybe the Scandinavian influence. This is probably the most important part of an overnight stay and for this reason would not stay there again.
Overall a good hotel for most.

This is a great hotel. Location couldn’t really be better. Next to the hotel but such a quiet hotel. I thank modern construction techniques for that!
The rooms were very well laid out, a touch of class in the rooms and bathrooms that echoes down the hall and into the lobby. This really is a classy hotel. Well worth the money and I don’t think I could bring myself to stay anywhere else in Glasgow after this wonderful experience.
One thing I would say to watch out for, the hotel bar (as they all are) is pricey. £5.10 for a pint of Becks vier is ever so slightly pushing the boundaries of value for money!!!
There is a Tesco Metro 1 block away from the station so we grabbed a fine wine and used the ice machine (on every floor next to the shoe polisher).
In my top 5 hotels I’ve ever stayed in!! Well Done Radisson Blu, You have found the fine line between class, style and value for money and I and my Fiancée loved it!

Nothing is too much bother for the staff in this hotel, we had a couple of minor niggles during our stay, informed the staff & they responded in immediately resolving the issues. The rooms are comfortable, clean & modern. The hotel though not in the nicest area of Glasgow is very well placed to access the city centre & transport links, a short walk from Glasgow Central Station & shuttle bus to Glasgow Airport. The only reason that I did not give this hotel 5 stars was that the pool is not run by the hotel, was cold, badly lit & a bit rundown. Also the car parking is a bit away from the hotel & difficult to find, the alternative nearer car parking is about twice the price.

Room Tip: Get the highest floor with an atrium rather that a street view, much quieter.
