Was in Glasgow to see Mrs Browns Boys at the SECC, stayed at this hotel, everything was excellent, brilliant location for shopping, just a couple of minutes walk from bus station (got airport bus), cannot find a single fault, good breakfast, clean room, very friendly and helpful staff (especially Mark on reception). Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel and given its the basic of the range of Holiday Inn chain, it's rather nice.

Breakfast is not the greatest but it is a three star so don't expect much but it's not too bad to start the day.

Beds are very comfy and fresh and you should have o problem sleeping.

Rooms are clean as are the bathrooms

Stayed here for one night to visit Royal Concert Hall, which is only 150 meters away.
Car Parking over the road from the Hotel, we parked from 17:30 on the Friday till 09:30 on the Saturday for a cost of £4.30p.
Had a meal at Dino Ferraris only 100 meters from the hotel on Sauchiehall Street and the food was excellent and very efficient service.
Hotel is very clean and the breakfast was good, paid £89 for two people for B&B.
Only negative comment is that the room was cold on checking in and when you leave the room tthe heating goes off, luckily we had a spare key card so that we could keep the heating on while we were away, came back to a room that was warm but not roasting

This is my choice of hotel when staying in Glasgow. It's in a great location and well staffed. My only criticism would be that the public areas are looking a big tired now and could do with a little TLC. Great value despite this though. £45 for a room for 2 on a Friday night can't be bad.

Usually stay at Holiday Inn next door but it annoyed me when they started charging for wifi.. Free here. Perfect location for bus, train, theatre, cinema and a plethora of shops and restaurants. Checked in very early.Didn't expect the room to be available on a busy Friday but it was at 8.40a.m.Room small but very clean and comfortable beds. Good hairdryer. Lots of t.v. channels. Breakfast was busy but staff were very efficient and friendly, helping an elderly lady and chatting to clientele whilst clearly working hard. very welcoming. Especially Elaine. we got a late check out too on a busy saturday. Exceptional staff . Highly recommend. Wewill certainly be back.

I have been staying in this hotel for 6 times now (for 5 days each time) in a span of 2 years. The excellent quality has been persistent throughout. The rooms are very clean and of a good size. Both the choice of items for b'fast and the b'fast venue are very good. Hotel location is excellent both for shopping, sight seeing and business. Hotel is also surrounded by a number of excellent restaurants within literally a few paces away. Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel because our daughter was doing the 10 mile night walk through Glasgow. We were impressed by the central location, the reception staff, and the room size. The 3 of us fitted in quite well. There was plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room which was spotlessly clean. You need your room card to activate the elevator and also to access the staircase door from reception so you instantly feel quite safe and secure. The added bonus was the breakfast. Although it said they served a Continental breakfast, they have also started to do hot items: sausages, beans and scrambled eggs. You could have cereal, yogurt, warm rolls/croissants, muffins, toast, juice etc. This hotel is truly a gem. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Di Maggios is right next to the hotel as is Le Bonne Auberge. The proximity to Sauchiehall Street and the Pavillion Theatre make it an ideal location. Would highly recommend this hotel!
