“Dont even bother. China Buffet King Is Better !!!!!!!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2012

New place in town thought l should give it a try. Place looked freshly painted sort of clean i'm happy enough with that. Then disaster the food looked awful all the hot starters where stone cold as where the selection of chinese dishes the indian food was like warm and not the temperature that it should be for hot holding "Culinary terms". The food was bland and tasteless lacked any imagination the sauces tasted as if they came out of a jar. The nann Bread was burnt and too dry. I had the chicken chaat and had to spit it back out as it had a bitter taste as if it was old chicken past its date and observed other flavours in the fridge. I observed hairs in the chicken korma l fished them out and gave them to a member of staff he did not apologise or nothing just grabbed the plate as if l was a convenience to hem. I saw that the cooks where wearing hats but there where five others in the kitchen that where not. The drinks where not to standard as l where given a cheap cola and not coca cola. I would not recommend Hot Flame World Buffet to anyone; one thing guaranteed l will not be back.

Was heading to Wetherspoons yesterday for a cheap and cheerful late lunch when we spied this place and thought it sounded intriguing, so we went there instead. It's really nice inside - well decorated and laid out. Sadly, the food was actively horrible. I tried a selection of Chinese dishes to start with and they mostly tasted of nothing and were a bit cool and watery. It was the selection of Indian bits that were actively unpleasant though. Pakora sauce was just piink yoghurt. The naan bread was cold and chewy. The dahl had a nasty after taste, and even the mango chutney tasted of something rather unsavoury. I had some curry as well (I can't remember which one), and it was edible, but really nothing special. Desert was probably the best course as I suppose you can't really go wrong with ice cream from a tub. I have to say though that even the Coke was a bit odd and very watered down. The staff were pleasant enough, but I found that several of the servers cut in front of me when I was trying to get to the buffet. Wetherspoons seemed to be laughing at us from across the road:(
