Description: BLOC+ is a forward-thinking and entirely independent restaurant, bar and live music venue. We are open from 11am until 3am and all live shows & clubnights are free entry. We are proud to have hosted some of the best musical acts from Scotland (including the likes of Frightened Rabbit, Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic and Admiral Fallow) as well as bands from across the globe as part of their European tours. BLOC+ is also an integral part of Glasgow's rich underground music scene, giving back to the loyal community that has made us so successful whenever we can.We also pride ourselves on a diverse and affordable menu of fresh, satisfying food and quality, well-priced drinks. Hope to see you here.

Visited for a lunch with two work colleagues. Service was friendly and efficient. The brisket beef burger was fabulously tasty as were the steaks. The interior wasn't my cup of tea (more of a late night bar and music venue that feels odd in the daytime) but the food and service more than compensates.

Very cool. Nice and lively place. Love it..pizzas are great.

Live bands can be a bit hit or miss but isn't that just the nature of live music. Some you love some you don't.

Thursday night 6pm and not too crowded, really good balance of sound but could still hear yourself speak.
Food was not only very good but for the money absolutely outstanding.
Wine was excellent and again reasonably priced.
Basic surroundings, clean and tidy - with a really good vibe to the place.
The waitress was outstanding, perfect balance of attentivenesss without being pushy, nothing was any problem and she came across as being totally genuine and friendly. (a huge asset to the place)
Will defo be going back here quite a lot

Stayed in adjacent hotel, and, after hearing the loud music decided to call in for a drink. Should have known better when the doorman quipped "Might not be to your taste". Ever one for a challenge and a rebuke about deciding my own music tastes went in anyway. Basically a basement student club. Drink spills every where , tables , floor , bar etc. Loud thumping music playing (Endlessly) , and not at Student prices. The young ones appeared to love it.

Two pizzas for nine quid , bargain but the thing is they taste great with a thin crunchy base just perfectly done.
We went in on Monday and the other special is pasta for three pounds.
The macaroni was actually very cheesy and also tasted great.

Cheap food with good live music and a great atmosphere, what are you waiting for.
