A fantastic arena for the badminton in the Commonwealth Games. Transport to the venue was seamless with many willing well trained helpers. The seats were very comfortable and all seemed to have an excellent view. No queueing for the well appointed toilets. The stadium would lend itself to so many future uses now that the Games are over . Anyone attending it should have no reservations . It will surely be a great benefit for Glasgow for many generations to come. A quality product.

“State of the art stadium”
Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

Came here for the Commonwealth Games Badminton finals. All very well organised with plenty of staff to help you get to where you need to go. Comfy seats in a clean stadium. Lots of food outlets but there are outside the stadium, overpriced and off putting especially if it's belting down with rain. By the time you get your hot food back inside the stadium it would be cold! That aside there is plenty of toilets and it's easy to navigate around inside. Within a 10 minute walk of Dalmarnock tube station.

“Commonwealth Games 2014”
Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

I visited the Emirates Arena two days in a row for the commonwealth games. The arena had an excellent layout and the games were completely visible from all areas of seating. The atmosphere is very friendly and the people working there are really helpful; always directing you in the right way and saying goodnight as you're leaving. The food options aren't the best as it is all stands with fatty foods that are overpriced. However there's nice places to eat nearby and the transport links are within walking distance. Overall we had a good time at the arena and it was very clean too.

“Glasgow 2014 Badminton!”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

This was one of the best venues we visited for Glasgow 2014, and so accessible too with Dalmarnock station just down the road.
The organisation was great, as was the atmosphere and just the quality on display for a £15 ticket.
My only negative would have to be in agreement with Bradley Wiggins, to say the Sir Chris Hoy velodrome is meant to be under the same roof, you could so easily miss it with the minuscule signs that are posted with his name on. Get the Emirates logo down and get him up there - he's earned it.
