Linda was the friendliest of people who made the Tennents Brewery tour especially nice with her great explanations of the brewing process, friendly repartee with the staff she encountered and her lovely Scottish brogue that made you listen intently to every word. Added to that, singing of "hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work we go" as we ambled through the buildings added a special touch of light-heartedness.
The tour was thorough, taking you right through the operations, unlike other tours that count too heavily on videos or showrooms. This was the real thing. Of course, the tasting afterward was especially good with Linda providing us an opportunity to have a small taste of many products including the ciders rather than having to choose a pint of one ale or lager. This was a perfect feature for those of us who aren't diehard beer fans.
Thank you Linda for a great visit!
