“Glasgow's Best Kept Secret”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

What an amazing little find Pan e Vino is, we just love this place! It's a proper little Italian eatery and deli with the most gorgeous food, wine and a great selection of beer. Honestly the best Italian food we've eaten anywhere other than Italy! Everything with that fantastic (lovingly) home made taste, prepared, cooked and baked to perfection. Bellissima!

“Love this place”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

Very friendly staff and a little taste of Italy. Perfect place to stop in for a fresh coffee and cake, light lunch or an early evening drink. Everything is fresh and clean and the atmosphere is cosy and relaxing. Staying nearby, it is also great for buying deli items-cheese, cold meats and amazing cakes. Lovely to sit outside sipping something cool and just watching the world go by.

“A little bit of Italy”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

I pass Pane e Vino all the time and wanted to give it a go as it always looks busy. We had a quick browse around the shop and liked the look of pretty much everything on offer. So we ordered an antipasti platter and a smoked salmon platter and some nice cold glasses of white wine. The platters were delicious, with lots of little extras like balsalmic onions and various types of olives. It came with bread and and some amazing olive oil. Really nice light meal and it was great to sit outside on a nice evening. Perhaps a little pricey, but its good quality - we'll be back to try the pasta!

“Friendly and welcoming whatever the weather!”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

This hidden corner of Giffnock just works! I've met with friends for a coffee and cake, an extended lunch, taken the kids for hot chocolate or stopped for a welcome break and sat outside while out for a family walk with the dog, Pane e vino just get it right every time. On a cold day it's warm and welcoming and in better weather you can sit outside and watch the world go by.
Wether visiting for the first time or a families face everyone is treated like an old friend, by friendly staff.
The soups and sandwiches are delicious with a great variety of fresh fillings available in a variety of breads. The smoked mozzarella with sun blushed tomato is especially good. The coffee is always fresh and cakes are mouthwatering especially the carrot cake and caramel shortcake.
Almost reluctant to review this gem as quite selfishly don't want all the seats to be taken next time I'm passing!
