Description: Loon Fung Restaurant is the first traditional Chinese restaurant to open in Scotland, established since 1971. Throughout the years,we have improved and added new dishes constantly: this makes the restaurant so famous both to Chinese and Scottish customers. Our specialties include traditional Cantonese dishes; hand made Dim Sum and Lobsters. Out of them all our most famous dishes are,Charcoal Grilled Barbecued Duck, hand made Ho-fan(rice pasta) and Chon-fan(rice wraps),our customers travel from all over the country and cannot get enough. Our large dinnin room(max 168 Seats) with beautiful Chinese vintage decration. Free WiFi, Sports and News showing on larger projecter screen and few HD TV. All of our staffs are very warm welcome everyone to dinning, party or celebration in Loon Fung.

It is often said that you can tell the quality of a restaurant based on whether the locals eat there. Well I have no idea who is, or isn’t, local to this restaurant, but the fact that there were so many Chinese people eating there suggested that the food would be both authentic and well prepared. That’s exactly how it was.

This is a lovely restaurant, far bigger than you would realise from the outside, with a fantastic selection of dishes. The food was well prepared and reasonably priced, with a good set menu available if you were on a bit of a budget. All in all I would happily recommend this place, I shall certainly be returning on my next trip to the frozen north!

A beautiful restaurant that I have never been in, as a regular City Centre visitor to Glasgow. Food is reasonably priced but wonderfully cooked. Staff are very attentive and always have a smile. Make this a must do......

Myself and three friends were the only non- Chinese in the premises. We had booked a table for lunch and were shown to our table. There are three menus 1- dim sum 2- set lunch and 3 a la carte which we plumped for although we had dim sum starters all was explained to us by a very pleasant and helpful young man named Kevin. We had Sake, wine and liqueur coffees and the final bill did not break the bank. The whole experience was made more pleasant by Kevin who was always there when required to advise us on the genuine Chinese delicacies which were plentiful and delicious and all cooked to order. All in, this was a most pleasant dining experience.

Don't expect 5* service it's short and sharp. But do expect the best dim sum in glasgow.
The majority of customers are Chinese. Ask for the dim sum menu. As they probably won't offer you it. Worth a visit.

We had a great evening meal, the set dinner for 2 was excellent, a good selection of different dishes and dim sum as well. A great atmosphere, interesting to see that most of the customers were chinese which makes you think that it must be good. Staff were attentive without being overbearing, great not to be rushed as you are normally in chinese places. We will be back.
