“Beautiful setting for prayer”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

This church is truly wonderful. Built in the neo Gothic style it offers the visitor an excellent setting for silence and meditation. One can also appreciate the stained glass windows that illumine the church.

“Such rich history”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

I enjoyed wandering around the cathedral and reading the history throughout. They have done a great job with telling its story. But the kids got bored really quickly.

“Beautiful Architecture”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

If you've been too the old Glasgow cathedral then you have to go to this newer Cathedral its totally different but well worth a walk through and its easy access and right on the river Clyde well worth a look at.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 4 February 2014

Called in to the cathedral when passing by and seeing many going in at 1.00 pm. Stayed for the service, have just checked that there appears to be Mass daily at that time. Church was almost full on a Monday! It turned out to be Candlemas and blessing of throats followed - most stayed for that after the Mass.
The building is well worth a visit, beautifully restored, and surely partly modernised with light coloured furnishings, wonderful lighting, and luckily for us the sun shone for almost the first time on our four day Glasgow visit. Stained glass had been beautifully cleaned and restored, and it is unusually well windowed for a church of its age? I thought the gold leaf decoration was well worth the effort and expense. One of the highlights of a first visit to Glasgow from Ireland
