We dropped into the Great Western Road branch of iCafe for a bit of a warm up and a cuppa after some cold Sunday afternoon furniture store trawling in the George's Cross area. It looked inviting from outside and once in it didn't disappoint.
It is billed as a café and we were only looking for some tea and cake but they did other stuff like tapas and there's internet access and comfy seats and sofas for anyone looking for a more involved café experience. In fact there were quite a few people scattered around, looking like they were pretty regular visitors, chatting, reading the papers, etc.
Service was friendly and reasonably quick and the tea, my berry blast muffin and Lorna's carrot cake were very acceptable fayre. No complaints at all; we'd go back there.
